Sida Rhombifolia Linn
Our cabin sticks are made from washed and dried weeds from Thailand called Sida Rhombifolia Linn. We think it is a shame that this is cut and pruned without anything being done with it and that is why we use these twigs for our diffusers. Because these twigs are hollow, they provide a more intense scent experience and they conduct the scent better than traditional fragrance sticks; nice to have, right?!
Nice to know; our small bunch of kajute sticks – the big ones too – are picked by hand in Thailand. Kajute is a dried grass that grows as a kind of weed in Thailand, among other places. It overgrows everything and therefore leaves little room for other plants. It is very important that this is trimmed every now and then, so that other plant species also have the chance to develop. Short story long – so it gets pruned. Wouldn’t it be a shame not to do anything with it? We think so too! That is why we use these twigs for our diffusers. Because they are hollow they spread the scent extra well, win-win right?!
The large bunch of kajute sticks is suitable for the recycled 200ml diffuser vase.
Does your diffuser lose its scent after a while? Then it is high time to replace the sticks with new ones. For sustainable use, it is best to use 2 – 3 twigs at the same time, which you replace with new ones every ten days . Because the twigs are hollow inside, they conduct and spread the scent extra well. This also makes it pointless to turn your sticks in the bottle, this will only give you dirty fingers ;).
